Personality:

Roxie is a somewhat sassy and independent individual, she might seem rude and arrogant at first but once you get to know her, she might seem just a tad bit sweeter, but still somewhat bossy. She has some sort of a 'big sister' attitude towards her closest friends.
Despite seeming rude she blushes quite easily-- mostly out of embarrassment, but loves the company of others. She can get touchy when asked about her personal life as well.
She tends to go towards her problems head first, claiming that she doesn't require the help of others to solve her own problems and sometimes this can lead her to trouble due to her somewhat cocky nature.

History:

Roxanne grew up in a broken family, her mother was only twenty when she gave birth to Roxie, and soon ran away, leaving Roxie with her father, who was thirty two. Roxie hated her father, every night he was drunk and came home with a different woman each night. Roxie was never allowed to leave her room during the night.
Her father was also a gambler, often leaving during the day to gamble, flirt with women, and get drunk. Roxie was often left alone with barely any food, and sometimes without electricity due to her father not paying the bills. She was practically invisible to him.
Roxie got a job at only the age of twelve, she explained to them why she needed the job so badly, but they only let her work two hours a day, paying her only enough money to feed her for around two days. It was better than what her father would often leave for her.
One day her father was drunk (nothing out of the ordinary) and Roxie had woken up late for school. He insisted on driving her to school but she feared it would lead to disaster.
And it did.
He had gotten her into the car and began driving before he ran a red light, smashing into another car. Her father suffered from a broken arm and had to get a few stitches, the other people in the car were killed. Her father had blame the accident on Roxie, sending her into a meltdown, had she really caused the death of living, breathing people?
She was sent to live with her only known relatives, her father's parents. They were very kind people and treated Roxie well, even giving her her very first Pokemon, a Male Frillish.
Roxie was still having nightmares of being neglected by her father, along with the crash replaying in her head, until one night she had a...Good dream as it seemed. She was greeted by the Pokemon, Cresselia wasn't it? It offered her the opportunity of a lifetime, letting her let go of those dreadful memories and letting her experience dreams, under a single condition to help Cresselia.
